Install Floola On Ubuntu

i have used floola for a few mounts and i love it.. then it started deleting my database on ipod for no reason. Now every time i start floola it is deleting all my songs and videos from ipod. But only from database. i backup my database and restore (itunes.db file) after floola crash... but i can not use it anymore.. Even winamp works better for me. But i try to stick with itunes because it is more stable. i find it dangerous playing with my i tunes database with alternative programs.

Yamipod is only for audio.Floola may be used for audio and video. Although, you may want to add just one video at a time for it will do something that will not allow your ipod to play the video. Weird but still a good alternative for the HUGE iTunes install.Good for computers you don't have administrator rights in.

Install Floola on Ubuntu

Hi Culeb, I drag and drop floola.exe onto my Ipod and then double-click it when it is there. Since it has then been invoked *from* the Ipod itself, it shouldn't be able to say "Ipod not connected" should it!

It is important to note that this will not work unless you have previously installed iTunes or Quicktime. Software cannot be installed by users on my work computers, which is why I use portable versions of many programs. Just my $0.02

Works very nicely on ubuntu (fiesty)linux ...only downside is that floola presumes you want to transfer the converted videos straight to the ipod.I was hoping to be able to have the converted videos stored in another folder on my computer.

This is a known issue that has been fixed in the current development version of libimobiledevice, but has not been released in a stable version yet. A workaround is to install libimobiledevice-gitAUR.

@donniezazen:I have installed android-udev as you said, nothing had happened. I have looked in libmtp bug report and some people have already reported that Moto G had some problems.

I had macOS and Windows 10 installed through Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro (late 2013) and everything worked fine. Then I tried installing Ubuntu on an external drive and setting up pure-EFI triple boot. However, in the process I accidentally deleted the original EFI folder (not the partition, just the folder) and now the option for Windows doesn't show up when holding down ALT/Option key during startup, though I am able to boot into macOS and Ubuntu without problem. I noticed the EFI folder in /dev/disk0s1/ (the EFI partition) has only an APPLE folder but is missing the Microsoft one. I wonder if there is a way to recover the EFI files/entries and fix this problem so I can boot into Windows again?

I had macOS and Windows 10 installed through Bootcamp on my iMac (Mid-2011) and everything worked fine. Then I installed a new SSD with no issues. I continued using Windows through the old HDD via Bootcamp. However, in the process of assigning more disk space to Windows, I accidentally deleted the original Macintosh HD. I have since restored it from the recovery boot menu.

To work with these new-generation devices, look at this article on using Ubuntu to sync with your iPhone/iPod touch. Most firmwares are supported with the installation of Ubuntu software to get them to work. What kind of software can I install on my iPod? 2ff7e9595c
